Monthly Kindermusik Playdate
We are filled with love and gratitude this month. Come sing and play with us as we celebrate love of family and friends through songs, dancing, ball play, instrument play, and a story time. Come join us!
A Playdate is a one-time Kindermusik class. $32 plus $12 per sibling includes a craft and an instrument for each child to take home.
Ongoing monthly enrollment is also an option at $28 plus $12 per sibling.

Join us for this sweet class that features baby massage,
baby exercise, instrument play, singing, creative
movement...and friendship and support in a community
of new parents! You will learn simple routines and musical
activities to help your little one grow & develop and enjoy
tender moments and joyful play with your little one.

February Theme: Family All Around Me
For toddlers, “family” means everyone who loves them! They are often surrounded by family members, friends, and other loving caregivers who look after them and shape their days. Family All Around Me celebrates these bonds and offers lots of opportunities for fun, connection, movement, and
instrument play.
Bonding moments and giggles abound as you and your little one rock, dance, snuggle, sing, learn new music games (sometimes with tickles!), play instruments, dance and cuddle together. Watch with delight as your child begins to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, and dance all on their own!
Level 2: 2 & 3 Years

February Theme: Family and Friends
Sing, dance, rhyme, move, and play your way through this celebration of why our very special Family & Friends matter so much! Using our imaginations, we’ll visit our friends’ houses, interact with family, go to the market, play with playmates, and more. Everyone is invited to make music with our family and friends!
Your child will love this mix of singing, dancing, stories, exploring and playing instruments. The engaging activities will help your child develop motor skills, listening skills, and social skills like turn-taking and sharing. Your independent little toddler still needs lots of cuddles, and you’ll have lots of opportunities for those special moments together.

February Theme: Let's Play!
Yippee—it’s time to play! Let’s Play mixes favorite toys of childhood with the magic of music and pretend play. We’ll go on a pretend walk to the park, a trip to the playground, and a ride on a train, and learn all about the ways children learn to create, assemble, and understand their world as they go about
their play.
Level 3 classes are family style classes. They are designed for 3 & 4 year olds but siblings are welcome, too! The 3 and 4 years olds enjoy and benefit from a curriculum designed especially for them and activities are also chosen for adaptability for the younger ones. Families build connections, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
Level 4: Ages 4 - 6 Years
Parents join the last 15 minutes.

February Theme: Feel the Music
Don’t you love it when you can Feel the Music? Music is a powerful trigger for emotions. In this unit, we explore how music can elicit feelings, as well as how to express feeling through music. We start with facial expressions and build up to listening to and engaging with the music of one of the great masters of emotion,
Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Your child will fall more in love with music as they enjoy singing songs, playing a variety of percussion instruments, and moving to music from a variety of cultures. Activities also include a story time, exploring music vocabulary and music notation, playing music in an ensemble, and incorporating their ideas in a newly “made up” verse to a song. Schooling readiness continues with a focus on language skills, physical coordination, and social skills.

Kindermusik Musicians
Year 1: Music & Emotions and the String Family
This month the first year Kindermusik Musicians class will explore emotions in music and using music and motions to accompany a story. We learn the note f and play songs on the glockenspiel with the notes f, a, and c. We also review instruments of the woodwind family and begin learning to identify by sight and sound the instruments
of the string family.
Year 2: The Music of Australia, the Middle East, and Africa
We will explore the music and instruments of these regions and learn about tempo in music. Reading and playing songs on the glockenspiel and recorder continues and we play together in ensembles with a variety of instruments.
Your child will LOVE Kindermusik Musicians and all the instruments and materials included. In this class, young musicians learn to play several instruments, read and write music, explore orchestral instruments, and discover music from a variety of genres and cultures. It’s the perfect prep for piano or any of our group or private lessons.
