Note: We continually accept applications for substitute teachers for the following instruments: Piano, Voice, Choir, Guitar, Violin, Drums, Choir, Bass Guitar, Ukulele. If you are interested in applying to be a substitute teacher, please complete the online form below.
When teaching openings occur, we hire first from our substitute teacher pool.
All positions are part time. Number of hours is based upon each teacher availability and student enrollment.
Our admin team handles all scheduling and billing so you can focus on teaching in our beautiful, fully equipped studios. Flexible hours, strong mentorship, and a friendly, collaborative teaching team make this a great place to share your passion for music.
Teaching experience is a plus - beginning teachers are welcome to apply. We provide teacher training for qualified musicians who would like to teach.
Current Openings
Teach one-on-one voice lessons to motivated teens and adults. We’re looking for someone who communicates kindly and clearly, loves working with students and families, and has solid training in vocal technique and performance. You’ll help students grow in breath support, tone, range, and expression while helping them achieve personal goals and preparing them for Southern Oregon School of Music concerts, music theater auditions, singing on worship teams, and other performance opportunities.
Guitar/Contemporary Band Teacher
Teach guitar lessons and coach student bands in rock, pop, country, or worship styles. We’re looking for someone who communicates kindly and clearly, loves working with students and families, with solid training in guitar technique and experience performing in bands. You’ll help students grow in technique, confidence, and musical expression while helping them achieve personal goals and preparing them for Southern Oregon School of Music concerts and other performance opportunities.
