Membership Benefits & Pricing

When you enroll in ongoing classes or lessons at Southern Oregon School of Music, you become a member.

Membership continues year-round, including through the summer months until you submit a Pause Membership or Cancel Membership form.

Membership Pricing

June 2026 - May 2027

Each June we adjust our pricing for new students. Ongoing students begin paying the new rate in September. This allows us to cover annual pay increases for our teachers and increases in rent and operating expenses.

Private Lessons: $164/month (30 minutes once per week for 4 weeks)

Group Classes: $164/month (60 minutes once per week for 4 weeks)

Ensembles: $30/month for members; $56/month for students taking ensemble ony
(60 minutes once per week)

Ensembles include:

Southern Oregon Children's Choir
Southern Oregon Youth Ensemble/Choir
Band (Guitar, Keyboard, Bass, Drums, Vocals)
String Ensemble (Violin, Viola, Cello)

Kindermusik Foundations through Level 4 (ages 0 - 6 yrs): $74/month (45 minutes once per week) Siblings under 1 year old in the same class are our guests at no extra charge.

Kindermusik Musicians/Level 5 (Ages 5 - 7 years): (60 minutes once per week)

Tuition: $94 month
Material and Instrument fee: $120/year (subject to change)

Kindermusik Playdates (Ages 18 months - 7 years):
(Sixty minutes once per month. Includes a craft and take-home instrument)

Single Playdate: $32 plus $12 per sibling
Ongoing Monthly Playdates: $28/month plus $12/month per sibling

Membership Fee: A $30 annual membership fee is due at enrollment. The annual fee is charged every September, but is waived for students who remain enrolled without pausing through the months of June, July, and August.

Sibling Discount: Siblings receive a $10 discount on their monthly tuition rate.
