Monthly Kindermusik Playdate
Put on your overalls and boots because it’s time to visit the farm! We’ll do a craft together and then waddle like ducks, moo like cows, and play in colorful fall "leaves." As we play instruments, enjoy a story time, sing, and dance, we’ll celebrate Fall on the Farm. We will end with a "quiet time" as we listen to the wind in the corn.
A Playdate is a one-time Kindermusik class. $32 plus $12 per sibling includes a craft and an instrument for each child to take home.

September Theme: Old Macdonald
Hop on the Hayride. . .it's time to head for the farm! With a "hee-
haw" here and a "cock-a-doodle" there, we'll engage in
rituals and playful activities including infant massage,
lap bounces, exercise, vocal play, and quiet time. And
we'll sing "Old MacDonald," of course!
Join us for this sweet class that features baby massage,
baby exercise, instrument play, singing, creative
movement...and friendship and support in a community
of new parents! You will learn simple routines and musical
activities to help your little one grow & develop and enjoy
tender moments and joyful play with your little one.
Level 1: Ages 1 & 2 Years

September Theme: Big Red Barn
An enduring favorite theme, farms (and all the moos, quacks, and
neighs that come with them) are a reliable toddler hit!
Packed with classics, Big Red Barn is fun and active as
you move like animals, make animal sounds, play
instruments, and learn about loud/quiet and
fast/slow.
Bonding moments and giggles abound as you and your
little one rock, dance, snuggle, sing, learn new music
games (sometimes with tickles!), play instruments, dance
and cuddle together. Watch with delight as your child
begins to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, and dance all on
their own!
Level 2: Ages 2 & 3 Years

Fridays @ 10 AM
September Theme: Colors & Shapes on the Farm
Get on your tractor and drive down to the barn - it's
time to encounter a farmyard of fun! We'll explore
some of the colors, shapes, and sounds found on the
farm as we walk in the green grass, go 'round and
'round the haystack, and listen to roosters crowing and
pigs oinking. Colors & Shapes on the Farm is loaded
with songs, dances, instrument play-alongs, as well as
listening activities that provide lots of play and lots of
learning. So come on down to the farm!
Your child will love this mix of singing, dancing, stories,
exploring and playing instruments. The engaging
activities will help your child develop motor skills,
listening skills, and social skills like turn-taking and
sharing. Your independent little toddler still needs lots of
cuddles, and you’ll have lots of opportunities for those
special moments together.
Level 3: Ages 3 & 4 Years
Parents & Child Participate Together. (Siblings ages 1-7 may also enroll)

September Theme: Around the Farm
Put on your overalls and boots because it's time to visit the farm! We'll waddle like ducks, moo like cows, go on a hayride, and listen to the wind blowing in the corn. As we play, sing, and dance, we'll strengthen our fine- and gross-motor skills, develop inhibitory control, explore timbre, and so much more. Get ready to discover all there is to see, hear, and do Around the Farm.
Level 3 classes are family style classes. They are designed for 3 & 4 year olds but siblings are welcome, too! The 3 and 4 years olds enjoy and benefit from a curriculum designed especially for them and activities are also chosen for adaptability for the younger ones. Families build connections, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
Level 4: Ages 4 - 6 Years
Parents join the last 15 minutes.

September Theme: All Keyed Up
There is magic to be found in those 88 keys! Immerse yourself in the magic of keyboards of all kinds. We’re All Keyed Up! We’ll listen to and learn about pianos, organs, synthesizers, and harpsichords. You’ll explore staccato and legato sounds, get to know the sounds of a few famous composers, and even experiment with composition.
Your child will fall more in love with music as they enjoy singing songs, playing a variety of percussion instruments, and moving to music from a variety of cultures. Activities also include a story time, exploring music vocabulary and music notation, playing music in an ensemble, and incorporating their ideas in a newly “made up” verse to a song. Schooling readiness continues with a focus on language skills, physical coordination, and social skills.

Kindermusik Musicians Year 1 September Theme: Music in Our Lives/Singing Voices/Steady Beats Fast and Slow
Our students begin the month with the theme "Music is Everywhere" and focus on noticing the music that is present in our everyday lives. We work with the concept of steady beat as well as how singing is different than other uses of the voice. We will also explore fast and slow tempos by singing and keeping a steady beat to music at different speeds..

of Canada/indigenous and Celtic Instruments/
Rhythm and Melody Review
Students will review steady beat, rhythmic notation, and the music staff as they begin their musical trip around the world with a focus on the songs and musical culture of North America.
Your child will LOVE Kindermusik Musicians and all the instruments and materials included. In this class, young musicians learn to play several instruments, read and write music, explore orchestral instruments, and discover music from a variety of genres and cultures. It’s the perfect prep for piano or any of our group or private lessons.
