Monthly Kindermusik Playdate
Join us for an hour of summertime fun full of pretend play - making sand castles, jumping over waves, and swimming with whales & dolphins. We'll move like a variety of sea creatures, sing songs, play instruments, make a craft and have a story time. It's a Beach Party!
A Playdate is a one-time Kindermusik class. $32 plus $12 per sibling includes a craft and an instrument for each child to take home.
Ongoing monthly enrollment is also an option at $28 plus $12 per sibling.

August Theme: Hello, Day!
What do you do in the morning? In Hello, Day!, you’ll greet the day with all of your senses. You’ll say good morning to the sunshine, you’ll blow away the morning dew, you’ll stretch your bodies high and low, explore and exercise fine-motor skills, and even play bathtime and laundry games.
Bonding moments and giggles abound as you and your little one rock, dance, snuggle, sing, learn new music games (sometimes with tickles!), play instruments, dance and cuddle together. Watch with delight as your child begins to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, and dance all on their own!

August Theme: Beach Days
Grab your beach ball and put on your sunscreen – Beach Days are here! In this unit, we’ll explore the sights and sounds found at the beach through songs, dances, vocal play, instruments, and listening activities. Get ready to wiggle your toes in the sand, scuttle like a crab, and listen to the surf rolling in. Just like a day at the beach, this unit is full of sun, fun, and play!
Your child will love this mix of singing, dancing, stories, exploring and playing instruments. The engaging activities will help your child develop motor skills, listening skills, and social skills like turn-taking and sharing. Your independent little toddler still needs lots of cuddles, and you’ll have lots of opportunities for those special moments together.
Level 3: Ages 3 & 4 Years

August Theme: Splash!
Ahoy, Mates! We’re setting sail on a new adventure all about water. From blowing bubbles and floating down rivers to waddling like penguins and rowing our boats, we’ll explore patterns, rhythm, and movement through music and pretend play. With water-themed songs, dances, and stories, this Splash unit is full of fun and learning!
Level 3 classes are family style classes. They are designed for 3 & 4 year olds but siblings are welcome, too! The 3 and 4 years olds enjoy and benefit from a curriculum designed especially for them and activities are also chosen for adaptability for the younger ones. Families build connections, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.
Level 4: Ages 4 - 6 Years
Parents join the last 15 minutes.

August Theme: Drums, Drums, Drums
Just say the word drum and any child within earshot will be ready to play. In Drums, Drums, Drums, we’ll focus on drums, percussion instruments, and music from Africa and South America as we clap, tap, move, play, and echo different rhythms. You’ll learn to recognize the sights and sounds of many different drums, play a drum, and get up and move your body to the rhythms, too!
Your child will fall more in love with music as they enjoy singing songs, playing a variety of percussion instruments, and moving to music from a variety of cultures. Activities also include a story time, exploring music vocabulary and music notation, playing music in an ensemble, and incorporating their ideas in a newly “made up” verse to a song. Schooling readiness continues with a focus on language skills, physical coordination, and social skills.
Level 5: Ages 5-7 Years

Year 2: Ukulele
This month we begin exploring the ukulele, a string instrument that is fun and easy to play! We are using the "Rainbow Ukulele" method which uses colored dots on the ukulele fretboard to make learning easier and faster for children. The ukulele is used in many kinds of music, not just Hawaiian songs. You might hear it in pop songs, folk music, or even jazz. This summer we are using it to play some of the wonderful children's songs we learn in Kindermusik! The ukulele's gentle sound makes it perfect for playing anywhere this summer—in the park, at a friend’s house, or just in your own backyard.
Your child will LOVE Kindermusik Musicians and all the instruments and materials included. In this class, young musicians learn to play several instruments, read and write music, explore orchestral instruments, and discover music from a variety of genres and cultures. It’s the perfect prep for piano or any of our group or private lessons.
