A Fiesta! is a special time of celebration with friends that brings a smile to everyone. Join us as we celebrate Latin American music and children's games from our neighbors to the south. Sing a simple song in Spanish. Play a hand clapping game from Mexico. Dance with a partner to a Brazilian Carnival song and join the circle for a Mexican Hat Dance around a sombrero. Make a set of your own maracas to play and take home. Everyone loves a Fiesta!

A Playdate is a one-time Kindermusik class. $32 plus $12 per sibling includes a craft and an instrument for each child to take home.

Ongoing monthly enrollment is also an option at $28 plus $12 per sibling.

May Theme: Big Back Yard

Parks, playgrounds, and yards of all shapes and sizes were made for play, play, play! With a mix of both parent-child activities and child-focused activities, you’ll be able to join right in on all the singing and dancing while also getting the chance to observe how your young toddler learns on his or her own in our Big Back Yard.

Bonding moments and giggles abound as you and your little one rock, dance, snuggle, sing, learn new music games (sometimes with tickles!), play instruments, dance and cuddle together. Watch with delight as your child begins to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, and dance all on their own!

May Theme: Down on the Ground

Hop like bunnies, crawl like caterpillars, and move high and low like squirrels. We’ll perform a familiar spider fingerplay and have fun with nonsense words. Through songs, listening activities, and vocal and instrument play, we’ll deepen the sense of wonder that children have about the world.

There’s no end to the fun Down on the Ground!

Your child will love this mix of singing, dancing, stories, exploring and playing instruments. The engaging activities will help your child develop motor skills, listening skills, and social skills like turn-taking and sharing. Your independent little toddler still needs lots of cuddles, and you’ll have lots of opportunities for those special moments together.

May Theme: In My Garden

Some of the best learning can happen in your own back yard! We’ll buzz like bees, fly like butterflies, and sing like birds as we discover the hidden delights of the garden. And while we’re enjoying the great outdoors, we’ll also listen, sing, move, play instruments and explore musical expression. So get ready for a music-and-nature adventure In My Garden!

Level 3 classes are family style classes. They are designed for 3 & 4 year olds but siblings are welcome, too! The 3 and 4 years olds enjoy and benefit from a curriculum designed especially for them and activities are also chosen for adaptability for the younger ones. Families build connections, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.

May Theme: Jumping Beans

Jump into the rhythms of Latin America with Jumping Beans! Peek into the rain forest, explore expressive movement, investigate quarter notes and quarter rests, sing and learn some words and phrases in Spanish, and—you guessed it—jump, jump, jump!

Your child will fall more in love with music as they enjoy singing songs, playing a variety of percussion instruments, and moving to music from a variety of cultures. Activities also include a story time, exploring music vocabulary and music notation, playing music in an ensemble, and incorporating their ideas in a newly “made up” verse to a song. Schooling readiness continues with a focus on language skills, physical coordination, and social skills.

Year 2: Thursdays @ 3 PM | Fridays @ 3 PM

Level 5:  Kindermusik Musicians

Year 1: This month we will play all of our favorite glockenspiel songs with the game "I Have a Little Melody."  We will also explore the math concepts of "taking away 1" and "adding 1 more" with the songs "Ten in the Bed" and "One Elephant."

Year 2: We celebrated our completion of the Kindermusik program with a graduation party at the and of April.  Beginning the first week of May the students are moving on together as a group to learn to play the piano using the innovative Piano Express curriculum.

Your child will LOVE Kindermusik Musicians and all the instruments and materials included. In this class, young musicians learn to play several instruments, read and write music, explore orchestral instruments, and discover music from a variety of genres and cultures. It’s the perfect prep for piano or any of our group or private lessons.
