Beginning Guitar Classes in Grants Pass
While many people think private lessons are the ideal way to get started on guitar, beginners often learn best in a group environment where they encourage one another, celebrate each new accomplishment, and inspire one another to keep practicing. In addition to making the journey more fun and motivating, our group classes give students twice as much instructional time with their teacher as a typical 30-minute private lesson.
Our Beginning Guitar class is for absolute beginners who want to learn to play acoustic or electric guitar. Students learn the fundamentals of guitar playing, including proper playing position, basic chords, strumming patterns, reading tablature, and the foundations of music theory. In this supportive group environment, students build confidence quickly. They'll begin playing familiar songs right away while developing the skills needed to perform with other musicians.
