April Theme: Rise & Shine!
Good morning, sunshine–it’s time to start the day! Babies can start their days in all kinds of ways–but the way to make the most of mornings is to establish a loving, predictable, day-to-day pattern. Up and at ’em routines and rituals take
center stage in Rise & Shine!
Join us for this sweet class that features baby massage,
baby exercise, instrument play, singing, creative
movement...and friendship and support in a community
of new parents! You will learn simple routines and musical
activities to help your little one grow & develop and enjoy
tender moments and joyful play with your little one.

April Theme: Playtime!
Nothing could be better than Playtime! This unit is all about fun and predictability. Do it, then do it once more. That was fun. Let’s do it again! From Pop Goes the Weasel to Sally Go ‘Round the Sun, and Little Green Frog to Monkey See, Monkey Do, this unit is a non-stop play-fest that stresses the developmental value of predictability, repetition, and play.
Bonding moments and giggles abound as you and your little one rock, dance, snuggle, sing, learn new music games (sometimes with tickles!), play instruments, dance and cuddle together. Watch with delight as your child begins to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, and dance all on their own!

Level 2: 2 & 3 Years
Parents & Child Participate Together
Thursdays @ 11 AM

April Theme: How Do You Feel?
Young children can go from happy to upset—and back again—in the blink of an eye! Managing emotions can be complicated, but using music to explore different feelings, causes, and how to navigate them can be fun!
Come explore answers in How Do You Feel?
Your child will love this mix of singing, dancing, stories, exploring and playing instruments. The engaging activities will help your child develop motor skills, listening skills, and social skills like turn-taking and sharing. Your independent little toddler still needs lots of cuddles, and you’ll have lots of opportunities for those special moments together.

Level 3: Ages 3 & 4 Years
Parents & Child Participate Together. (Siblings ages 1-7 may also enroll)
Fridays @ 11 AM

April Theme: Animals a-Dancing
What do elephants, frogs, monkeys, and pigs have in common? This month they all love to dance – and sing and play with you! This tuneful time will set your toes tapping and your hearts humming as the children develop language skills, fine and gross motor skills and inhibitory control. Your child will love moving every which way while singing the songs of our animal friends in Animals a-Dancing.
Level 3 classes are family style classes. They are designed for 3 & 4 year olds but siblings are welcome, too! The 3 and 4 years olds enjoy and benefit from a curriculum designed especially for them and activities are also chosen for adaptability for the younger ones. Families build connections, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.

Level 4: Ages 4 - 6 Years
Parents join the last 15 minutes.
Thursdays @ 1 PM

April Theme: Under the Rainbow
Nothing is better than small children with big senses of humor. Word play, tongue twisters, and silly songs are great for our bellies (belly laughs, that is), and great for cognition and vocabulary development, too! We draw on the rich tradition of humorous folk songs and explore folk instruments as we sing, play, and laugh together in Giggles.
Your child will fall more in love with music as they enjoy singing songs, playing a variety of percussion instruments, and moving to music from a variety of cultures. Activities also include a story time, exploring music vocabulary and music notation, playing music in an ensemble, and incorporating their ideas in a newly “made up” verse to a song. Schooling readiness continues with a focus on language skills, physical coordination, and social skills.

Level 5: Ages 5-7 Years
Parents join the last 15 minutes.
Year 1: Tuesdays @ 3 PM
Year 2: Thursdays @ 3 PM | Fridays @ 3 PM
Level 5: Kindermusik Musicians
Year 1 April Theme:
Melodies, Ensembles, and an Orchestra Story
Melodies, Ensembles, and an Orchestra Story This month the first year Kindermusik Musicians class will read and play songs on their glockenspiels using the notes A, C, and D and experience crescendos and diminuendos. We will also review instrument families and learn about the symphony orchestra.
Year 2 April Theme:
The Music of South America
This month we make our final stop in our musical journey by "visiting" South America. We will experience South American music through singing, dancing, playing instruments, and games. We will also practice accompanying the classic story of Don Gato with an ensemble of glockenspiels, recorders, and a variety of percussion instruments. The final week will feature a FIESTA complete with a pinata!
Your child will LOVE Kindermusik Musicians and all the instruments and materials included. In this class, young musicians learn to play several instruments, read and write music, explore orchestral instruments, and discover music from a variety of genres and cultures. It’s the perfect prep for piano or any of our group or private lessons.
